    What You'll Do

    • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including RTUs (rooftop units), split systems, heat pumps, condensers, and air handling equipment.
    • Conduct scheduled PMs, inspections, and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and energy efficiency of building mechanical systems.
    • Diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment, including identifying refrigerant leaks, performing system charging, and executing drop-in refrigerant conversions and retrofit projects.
    • Service and maintain Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units supporting critical data center and technology environments.
    • Complete minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting, including electrical components, disconnects, motors, controls, relays, contactors, and circuits up to the electrical panel.
    • Perform minor plumbing repairs, including fixture replacements, drain line maintenance, drain snaking, leak repairs, and general plumbing troubleshooting.
    • Complete general building maintenance tasks such as drywall patching, painting, ceiling tile replacement, floor tile repair, door hardware repairs, and other facility-related projects.
    • Operate independently as the sole Mobile HVAC Engineer supporting a designated geographic territory, prioritizing work orders and managing daily service schedules.
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures, determine the best course of action for equipment modifications, and apply your expertise to maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, including electrical distribution and plumbing systems.
    • Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance, while also completing maintenance and repair records as required.
    • Explain complex information to others in a straightforward manner, ensuring that team members and clients understand technical details and solutions.

    What You'll Need

    • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    • EPA Universal Certification required.
    • Valid driver's license required.
    • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
    • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions and apply innovative thinking to your work
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset, capable of analyzing and solving mildly complex problems.
    • Sophisticated math skills, with the ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
