Your mission
Hit the road in a company-provided service vehicle to restore uptime:
- Tackle complex maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and farm machinery.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and OEM manuals to pinpoint issues quickly.
- Own both scheduled PMs and urgent breakdowns, working safely and independently.
- Deploy cranes and specialized equipment to execute safe lifts and component swaps.
- Keep customers informed with clear recommendations and timely updates.
- Document work meticulously—parts, labor, and findings.
- Guide entry-level techs and share field-proven techniques.
- Continuously adopt new industry methods to improve quality and speed.
What it takes
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with diesel, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
- Advanced diagnostic proficiency and strong, systematic troubleshooting under pressure.
- Your own tools appropriate for heavy equipment service.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization.
- Valid driver’s license; able to operate a company vehicle (mobile role).
- Lift 50+ pounds; work indoors and outdoors.
Standout extras
- ASE certifications or OEM training (CAT, Hyster, Cummins, etc.).
- Direct field service/mobile repair background.
- Exceptional customer service and communication.
- Customer-facing experience or project leadership on jobsites.
