    What you’ll handle

    • Own advanced diagnostics and repairs across heavy‑duty diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems (including CAN bus and ECM), plus medium and light‑duty applications.
    • Perform complex engine work: overhauls, rebuilds, and intricate component repairs with speed and accuracy.
    • Leverage manufacturer service information and advanced diagnostic tooling to troubleshoot tough problems.
    • Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support high‑level maintenance activities.
    • Mentor and train junior technicians to raise the bar across the team.
    • Deliver clear, professional communication to customers, including detailed diagnostics and service recommendations.
    • Document repairs and maintenance with meticulous records.
    • Champion process improvements and uphold safety and performance standards.

    What you’ll bring

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 5–10+ years repairing heavy equipment, diesel powertrains, or hydraulic systems.
    • Expert capability with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
    • Hands‑on mastery of advanced diagnostics and complex repairs (e.g., CAN bus, ECM).
    • A complete professional toolset appropriate for field service.
    • Strong organization and the ability to work independently under pressure.
    • Valid driver’s license and readiness to operate a company vehicle in a mobile role.
    • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments.

    Preferred credentials

    • Multiple ASE certifications—T2 through T8—or Master Diesel Technician status.
    • Background in lead technician roles, supervision, or shop management.
    • Proven field service/mobile repair experience and strong customer‑facing communication.
