What you will be doing

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment in the fieldResponsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipmentEnsure all work is performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Learn and partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain accurate maintenance recordsOther general maintenance duties as requiredCollaborate with Team Members outside of the department to ensure the overall success of the operation

What you'll need to be successful

Two to three years of Semi-Truck Fleet Mechanic experience, and experience with a variety of trucks a plusConfidence in repairing suspensions, rear ends, transmissions, air brake systems, minor engine work (injectors, turbos, etc.) and moreAn expert in identifying and diagnosing needed repairs by computer-based systems, being able to visually recognize problems a big plusClass A CDL a plus, but not requiredThe ability to weld aluminum is a plusFor safety, it is essential that the candidate possesses English communication skills. The job demands the ability to understand and interpret both written and verbal operational and safety guidelines, as well as related regulations, policies, and memosClear and effective communication with colleagues and superiors is a key requirement for this roleEnsure compliance to strict OSHA and State regulations
