Mobile Developer (CLT)

Description

Android or iOS Developer (either is fine) - 5+ years of mobile app development experience, strong in Swift/Objective-C (iOS) or equivalent Android skills, comfortable writing automated tests (e.g., Appium), and able to work directly with design and middleware teams.

Tech Stack:

iOS:

• Swift, Objective-C, SwiftUI, XCode, iOS Frameworks

Android:

• Kotlin and/or Java (Core Java required), C-based libraries

Shared across both:

• Web/REST services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Git/Bitbucket for version control, and Appium for automated testing (bonus if they can test across both Android and iOS).

What this person will be doing:

Designing, building, and maintaining native mobile apps on their platform (iOS or Android) for the latest devices. Day to day includes:

Working with the design team to define new app features, joining design reviews with the middleware team, and coordinating with the business side on functionality. Writing and maintaining automated tests (Appium), ideally with CI/unit testing in the mix. Finding and fixing bugs/performance bottlenecks before releases. Maintaining the core codebase and pushing updates live to the App Store or Play Store. Working with biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs as needed.

Top 3 overall skills:

• Native mobile development: Swift/Objective-C/SwiftUI (iOS) or Kotlin/Core Java (Android)
• Automated testing, especially with Appium
• Web/REST services integration (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)

Nice to haves:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing, cross-platform test automation (Appium across both iOS and Android), strong communication skills, and a knack for troubleshooting in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
