    • Location: Augusta, GA
    • Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM-6:00PM

    Job Summary

    Our client is seeking a CT or MRI Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. The role involves performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography equipment, unloading equipment, performing EKGs, and maintaining communication with various stakeholders.


    Responsibilities

    • Operating portable (DR) or (CR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
    • Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment [If applicable to position] to various locations (State owned long-term care facilities) to perform various x-ray/CT exams as ordered by the physician
    • Obtaining and scanning required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
    • Communicating regularly with dispatch and management.
    • Communicating efficiently and interacting professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
    • Maintaining vehicle and x-ray equipment. Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
    • Training other technologists as required.
    • Performing special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.


    Requirements

    • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification and or CT/MRI Certification or Registry Eligible within 3 months (Limited License not acceptable)
    • 1 Year experience in any of the following:
      • Meditech RAD – Radiology
      • Mammography
      • Radiology
    • 1 Year experience in any of the following:
      • Echocardiogram (echo)
      • Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
      • Echocardiography
    • Driver’s License
    • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or exemption request
