    Description

    Ridgeview, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a licensed Mobile Crisis Director.  The schedule will be weekdays with a negotiable start (8am-11am) and end time (4pm-7pm).

    About the job: Our crisis center operates 24 hours/day and 7 days/week to provide crisis assessments either in person or via telehealth from our main center location.  You will lead a team of Mobile Crisis Clinicians with Master’s degrees in Social Work or Counseling as well as Crisis Line Specialists with Bachelor’s degrees.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The Mobile Crisis Director position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another mental health field from an accredited institution.  Current LCSW or LPC-MHSP license and MPA eligibility required. Experience in Crisis Services highly preferred. Management/ administrative experience required. Must possess and maintain a valid Tennessee driver’s license and have a safe driving record.

     

    JOB DUTIES

    The Mobile Crisis Director manages all aspects of the daily operation of the Mobile Crisis Team.  The right LCSW or LPC-MHSP will be responsible for program development and maintenance of linkages with law enforcement officials, hospital emergency room staff, and community resources; maintaining a relationship with managed care organizations; and ensuring requested services are provided.  The Mobile Crisis Director will lead the Master’s level Clinician staff as well as the Bachelor’s level Crisis Line Specialist staff, including training and development.  The Mobile Crisis Director will be responsible for training and consultation with community resources, development of resources for respite care in Ridgeview’s regional service area, and representing Mobile Crisis on internal management committees.
