Randstad is seeking a Mobile Adoption & Change Coordinator to facilitate workforce readiness and technology adoption for a nationwide enterprise mobility program with our transportation client in Washington, DC. Collaborating directly with the Digital Technology OCM team, business unit supervisors, and a dedicated technical deployment partner, you will lead the human-enablement side of the mobile rollout. Your primary focus will be preparing frontline workers in Mechanical, Engineering, and Transportation for digital workflows by developing clear user guides, conducting on-site training sessions, gathering field feedback, and tracking adoption milestones to ensure sustained digital transformation across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Workforce Training & Site Visits: Travel nationwide (25 50%) to regional maintenance and operational facilities to conduct hands-on mobile training sessions, "tech open houses," and one-on-one coaching for frontline employees.
- End-User Readiness Materials: Create quick-reference guides, cheat sheets, FAQ documentation, and step-by-step visual tutorials to help distributed staff navigate new mobile devices and operational apps.
- Field Change Enablement: Serve as the on-the-ground advocate and listening post for field personnel, capturing user friction, answering operational concerns, and reporting adoption blockers to program leadership.
- Stakeholder & Operational Alignment: Coordinate with local site managers, shop foremen, and DT OCM leads to schedule rollout waves, align with shift schedules, and minimize downtime during device handovers.
- Adoption Tracking & Surveys: Gather end-user feedback, monitor initial sign-in and app usage metrics, and summarize site-level readiness reports using Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, or basic Power BI dashboards.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Partner with the technical deployment specialist to refine the handover experience based on frontline feedback, ensuring smoother rollouts with each regional phase.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Change Coordination & Training Experience: 2 4 years of experience supporting organizational change management, end-user technology training, or workforce adoption programs.
- Distributed Workforce Exposure: Proven success training or supporting frontline, non-desk, or industrial workforces (e.g., transportation, logistics, field service, or manufacturing).
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel nationwide 25 50% to active maintenance facilities and engineering shops.
- Communication & Facilitation Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to small and large groups in industrial settings.
- Tool & Process Familiarity: Working knowledge of modern productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel); exposure to structured change methodologies (such as Prosci or Kotter frameworks) is a strong plus.
