Emergency Room RN – Travel Assignment
Position: Emergency Room RN
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Start: Quick Start
License: Active state RN license required
Experience: Minimum 3 years; 3–5 years preferred
Job Requirements:
- Strong Emergency Department experience required
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
- Fast-paced adult community ED
- 16 beds | Approximately 25,000 cases annually
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3–4
- Minimal trauma or pediatric patients
- Experience with stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory/cardiac conditions, and orthopedic cases preferred
Required Skills:
- IV insertion
- PICC/Central Line management
- 12-lead EKG
- Telemetry interpretation
- Cardioversion/defibrillation
- Procedural sedation
- CPAP/BiPAP
- Ventilator management
- Trach care
Preferred:
- Chemical dependency/behavioral health experience
Certifications:
Important: Travelers may be downstaffed from 36/48 hours depending on the facility's weekly schedule during the 13-week contract.
