A healthcare organization in Montana is looking for a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a permanent, full-time position.

Position Highlights

• Permanent, full-time opportunity
• Day/evening shift with nights and weekends included in the workweek
• Prepare specimens and operate automated laboratory analyzers
• Evaluate test results and perform manual testing according to established procedures
• Work across all areas of the laboratory
• Perform quality control, proficiency testing, and Quality Assurance
• Participate in facility performance improvement projects
• Work independently, including unsupervised on-call situations

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Biology or Chemistry
• ASCP or equivalent certification
• Montana Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure
• Knowledge of routine laboratory procedures and ability to research and establish new procedures
• Experience across laboratory areas, including Microbiology and Immunohematology, preferred
• Experience with computers, specialized analyzers, and laboratory equipment preferred
• Knowledge of CLIA, Compliance, and HIPAA regulations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments
