HireLevel is hiring multiple Mixer Operators in Evansville, IN. 

The Mixer Operator is responsible for producing batches of material in accordance with customer and company specifications. This role involves weighing raw materials, operating industrial mixers, monitoring batch quality, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and troubleshooting mixing issues. The Mixer Operator plays a key role in ensuring product quality, safety, and efficient production.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive adhesive and sealant solutions, headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. The company delivers high-performance products that support lightweighting, NVH reduction, and bonding and finishing applications through a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Location: Evansville, IN
Shift: Monday - Friday 
2nd shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm ($2/hr shift premium) Monday – Friday
3rd shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am ($2/hr shift premium) Monday – Friday
Pay: $23 - $25/hr.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review mixing schedules and batch tickets
  • Produce batches following established procedures
  • Accurately weigh and verify raw materials
  • Inspect drums and equipment before use
  • Safely dump completed batches from mixers
  • Communicate shift-to-shift updates and special instructions
  • Monitor production for abnormalities and stop production when issues occur
  • Notify leadership and Quality Assurance of any issues
  • Maintain proper batch identification and documentation
  • Complete batch records, reports, and SAP entries accurately
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety-compliant
  • Follow FIFO inventory practices and safety requirements
  • Operate a forklift and handle hazardous materials as required
  • Inspect and test drums and finished batches

Additional Responsibilities (Level 3 & 4 Operators Only)
  • Train new Mixer Operator trainees (Level 2 operators may assist as trainers at management discretion)
  • Produce trial batches for Research & Development and Product Development
  • Manufacture highly critical products designated for Level 3 or 4 operators only
  • Perform specialized dispensing and cleaning for highly critical products as assigned

Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and batch specifications precisely
  • Understanding of FIFO inventory principles
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn SAP
  • Strong training and mentoring skills (Level 3 & 4)
  • Forklift operation skills or ability to obtain certification

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lifting up to 60 lbs; occasional lifting over 60 lbs
  • Prolonged standing and moving throughout the facility
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Fine motor skills and regular handling of large items
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail
