Location: Omaha, Downtown. Schedule: Mon-Thur 3 pm to 3 am Pay Rate: $15.75
Position Summary
As a Mixer at Mi Mamas Tortillas, you will play a key role in the production process by preparing and mixing ingredients to create high-quality tortilla dough. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities
? Ingredient Preparation & Mixing
Accurately measure and load ingredients into mixing equipment based on batch specifications Operate and monitor industrial mixers to ensure proper consistency and texture Adjust mixing times and speeds as needed to meet quality standards? Documentation & Quality Control
Record batch information and report any deviations or issues Inspect mixtures for consistency and report irregularities to supervisors Collaborate with quality control to ensure product meets company standards? Sanitation & Safety
Clean and sanitize mixing equipment and work area regularly Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of ingredients and equipment Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Comfortable using tablets and iPads.
