What You'll Do as a Mixer Shift:- Mix raw ingredients according to company formulas and production demands
- Operate scales, mixers, braizers, chocolate melters, and margarine melters
- Measure ingredients accurately and adjust formulas as needed for different batch sizes
- Record required production data on daily reports and work center schedules
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area while following GMP and food safety procedures
- Report equipment issues promptly to the lead or supervisor
- Work at a pace consistent with production requirements and provide direction to a mixer assistant when applicable
What You Need to Bring to the Mixer Shift Role:- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 6–12 months of related experience preferred
- Strong math skills to accurately interpret and adjust formulas and use scales
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and frequently lift 21–50 pounds; heavier lifting requires assistance
- Ability to frequently bend, push, and pull and occasionally reach above the shoulders, climb, crawl, squat, or kneel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment with exposure to allergens including milk, soy, wheat, eggs, tree nuts, and peanuts
- Ability to wear required PPE and work additional shifts or hours as needed
