Mitigation Technician

Reports To: Mitigation Manager
Type: Full-Time | Field-Based | On-Call Rotation Required
Primary Objective
Execute mitigation work correctly, efficiently, and completely.
This role is responsible for:
- Supporting mitigation jobs in the field
- Following established processes and direction
- Ensuring all work is properly completed and documented before leaving the job site
You are not expected to manage jobs-but you are expected to do your part right every time.
What This Role Is Responsible For
- Responding to mitigation jobs (water, fire, mold, storm)
- Performing extraction, demolition, cleaning, and equipment setup
- Following direction from the Mitigation Manager and Lead Technician
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Representing the company professionally with homeowners
Job Completion Standard (Non-Negotiable)
Before leaving any job site, you are responsible for ensuring:
- All assigned work is fully completed
- Photos are taken clearly and completely
- Job notes are entered accurately
- Required documentation (MICA/logs) is complete
- All data is synced and uploaded
If it's not completed and documented, the job is not done.

- Be ready to move-no waiting for direction
- Follow instructions clearly and completely
- Ask questions when something is unclear
- Maintain urgency while paying attention to detail

Initiative & Problem-Solving
- Take initiative to keep work moving-do not wait to be told every step
- Identify and communicate issues early instead of letting them slow the job down

What we're looking for:
- Experience in mitigation, construction, or related field preferred
- Willingness to learn and follow systems and processes
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through
- Comfortable working in a team environment
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Ability to work after hours/on-call as needed
- Willingness to work in residential and commercial environments
