KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management and training for all Estimator/PM's for scoping, estimate writing and strategies, selling to the customer, budgeting and producing, profitably
• Delegate duties to personnel, review personnel performance, and hold staff accountable to company standards
• Coaching and developing staff to achieve desired performance levels and provide opportunities for success in day-to-day functions, and long term and short-term goals
• Promote and celebrate success with employees for their accomplishments
• Provide corrective action/growth plans for employees that need improvement in their performance and handle any disciplinary actions as necessary
• Achieve profitability goals for the company through job costs measurements, budget amounts and cash flow through timely collections of dollars
• Follow the JCMH Fundamental outline of meetings and reports
• Provide timely and accurate reports including budget information
• Comparing budgets with actual performance, monthly budget review, and preparation of the annual budget with the Controller
• Work with clients, employees, and GM to meet sales goals individually and for the Branch
• Accountable for gross profit margins, customer service levels and the mix of work of the company
• Implementation of company business plan through working with the GM to develop and update the business plan for the overall development and outcomes of branch operations
• Management of Project Managers and assisting in project management duties as needed
• Locating and utilizing subcontractors
• Management and oversight of PM's business development and marketing efforts, including the staff. Consistently undertaking marketing activities
• Communicate a positive image of the company to the entire staff and customers
• Implement the company vision and mission and achieve goals
• Implement and manage regular safety meetings and training and log accordingly

Knowledge of:

• Comprehensive knowledge of budgets, cash flows, collections, and business plans.
• Restoration programs, duties, and functions
• Marketing and sales resources and how to efficiently work with clients to bring in business and keep current business
• Industry software: Xactimate, Contractor Connection, PSA, Code Blue and other similar programs
• Knowledge of all safety rules and regulations and be able to prevent work hazards

 
EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

• Four-year College degree
• At least 5 years' experience in management within the Restoration Industry

 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must work in an outdoor setting and drive and operate motor vehicles, mechanical equipment and machinery
• Must work around cleaning supplies, deodorization, and other products with a chemical base
• Required to climb ladders and work in high places
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, climb, crouch, crawl, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull equipment and retrieve items
• Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 75 lbs.

 
WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Working outdoors in varying temperature conditions and some direct exposure to hazardous substances
• Workers may be subject to uncomfortable working conditions including exposure to extreme heat or cold, dust, noise, unusual heights, confined spaces, electrical currents, and construction hazards
• Due to the nature of the work, often the job sites will be dirty, possibly cold or wet and sometimes unsanitary
• Employees will be required to wear protective gear as necessary and most working hours
