Mission Readiness Associate 2

Introduction

The Mission Readiness team is seeking support for daily fleet operations at our test sites. This role involves ensuring on-time vehicle readiness for scheduled tests and service operations. Responsibilities include vehicle upkeep, test site organization, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will support the parts team in organizing and transporting spare parts inventory.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of work experience
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy
• Pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Ability to go up and down stairs, as well as stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, kneel, and reach during shifts
• Ability to travel locally and nationally (less than 30%)
• Possess a “get it done” attitude, safety-first mindset, and a sense of urgency to resolve problems and tasks
• Must have the proven ability to problem solve and deliver on high-pressure situations
• Must have the proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in automotive repair
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence
• Proficiency with MS Office/Google Suites
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support company milestones and optimize drive operations across multiple locations
• Ensure vehicles, equipment, and workplace are clean and ready for use
• Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment
• Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness
• Perform routine charging of test vehicles and supporting equipment
• Execute mission prep procedures, including launching software, verifying configurations, deploying software, capturing data, and escalating issues
• Provide support as a member of the Incident Response Team during vehicle recovery scenarios
• Support the readiness of spare parts and the associated inventory
• Provide hands-on technical support to BaseOps technicians
• General testing support including documentation, pre-mission assistance, cone courses, obstacles, traffic control, and support vehicle driving
