    Job Description

    The Manger, Mineral Management and Real Estate Operations is responsible for the direction of the Mineral Management and Real estate Operations Departments strategic initiatives, operational policies, and objectives. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely, effective, efficient delivery of Mineral Management and Real Estate operational functions, support, project execution and leadership to enable the lines of business to meet corporate strategic objectives. The department supports the comprehensive mineral asset management and real estate services group which, provides services to trust and agency customers, universities, foundations, and other banks, and trust companies throughout the United States.

    How Youll Spend Your Time

    • You will develop and execute short‑ and long‑term strategic plans for Mineral Management and Real Estate Operations by aligning systems, processes, and resources with business needs.
    • You will recommend system enhancements, process improvements, and vendor strategies to strengthen operational performance and efficiency.
    • You will maintain strong awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support informed strategic and operational planning.
    • You will partner with business units to provide insights and guidance that help shape and influence broader business strategies.
    • You will lead, recruit, develop, and mentor a professional staff while managing performance and addressing underperformance.
    • You will design, implement, and oversee automated systems to measure and improve quality, productivity, service levels, and risk management.
    • You will provide oversight and guidance across systems, projects, legal and compliance requirements, risk tracking, and management reporting.

    Education & Experience Requirements

    This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Management, Financial Accounting Degree with 9+ years management wealth operations experience with at least 6 years of experience in a management capacity or equivalent experience of 14+ years in wealth management operations. Preference is Master's Degree.

    • Advanced Knowledge of mineral management accounting practices and procedures
    • Advanced Knowledge of Petroleum and Land Management functions
    • Thorough knowledge of Trust administration regulations and practices
    • Extensive knowledge of Mineral Management and Real Estate Operations accounting systems
    • Extensive knowledge of Oil and Gas law
    • Advanced management and project management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft office suite
