Millwright - Yreka, CA

Coordinate work schedule with fellow millwrights, based on current work need or malfunctions, and help with work, or oversee the maintenance on specific areas. • Communicate with lead millwright, production line supervisor, equipment operators, electricians, and any other maintenance personnel, as is required by specific tasks.

$7,500 sign on bonus!!

Pay rate: $34.38/hour plus applicable shift differential. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs walk-through inspections of the entire mill, checking and reporting any malfunctions; repairs/troubleshoot when needed.


MAJOR TASKS:

• Perform walk - through inspections of the entire mill, check for any malfunctions, report, or repair/troubleshoot, when needed.
• Coordinate work schedule with fellow millwrights, based on current work need or malfunctions, and help with work, or oversee the maintenance on specific areas.
• Communicate with lead millwright, production line supervisor, equipment operators, electricians, and any other maintenance personnel, as is required by specific tasks.
• Consider hazards and safe work actions before performing assignments.
 

• Minimum 2 years millwright experience preferably in wood products or manufacturing setting.
• Be able to work shift work and weekends.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
