    The Mill Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Mill (Pellets, Bemis, Flake & Mesh) of Industrial, Food grade and Pharmaceutical grade salt by performing the tasks listed below either personally or through hourly bargaining unit employees.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensures environmental, health, and safety (EHS), and General Management Practices (GMP) performance and compliance
    • Accountable for the Mill Operations
    • Establishes and ensures achievement of all unit key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Manages area budget/cost, volume, and quality.
    • Manages department project capital budget.
    • Manages equipment and process reliability.
    • Performs other related duties, as required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related technical degree is strongly preferred or ten (10) plus years of relevant experience.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years' manufacturing experience.
    • Minimum of five (5) years' supervisor experience preferred.
    • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Proficient in SAP-preferred
