As a Mill Laborer, you'll support daily mill operations by helping keep production flowing smoothly. Youll work closely with the team to handle materials, perform inspections, and contribute to maintaining safety and efficiency standards across the plant.
What You'll DoAs a Mill Laborer, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring production lines to ensure lumber is aligned and safely processed
- Moving and transferring materials, including sticks and logs, efficiently across work areas
- Identifying and separating broken or damaged wood from usable materials during inspection
- Assisting with general mill operations to uphold productivity and safety protocols
- Supporting team members with various tasks in a busy sawmill environment
