Job Summary:
The Milk Lab Technician Lead coordinates the safe preparation and delivery of neonatal feedings, including human milk and specialized formulas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards. They lead workflow processes, support team members, manage inventory and documentation systems, and drive quality improvement efforts to maintain high standards of care.

High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years milk lab experience.

Demonstrates advanced proficiency in mathematical calculations, with the ability to accurately perform complex formula and human milk fortification tasks and successfully meet competency standards. Possesses strong computer and technical skills, with the ability to navigate specialized systems, interpret data, and troubleshoot workflow challenges effectively. Exhibits professional judgment, critical thinking, and excellent interpersonal communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with the multidisciplinary team and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
