Organization Information The Dayton School Community strives to teach the whole student by addressing his/her intellectual, physical, social, and emotional needs. We accept this responsibility to provide the opportunity to develop a positive learning environment, which encourages all students to attain their optimal level of achievement. Our ultimate mission is to graduate lifelong learners who are responsible, productive community members. In order to ensure that this mission is accomplished, our schools are staffed with highly qualified, motivated, and caring faculty and staff. Our faculty and staff serve as excellent role models for our students with many of the certified staff holding a M.Ed. or higher and two staff members holding the National Teacher Certificate. The Dayton Independent School District has a total of 880 students. We encourage community and parent involvement in our schools and take pride in our commitment of providing a positive and inviting environment for our learning community.
