The Professional & Direct Hire Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is seeking Entry Level and Experienced MIG Welders to join a well established, family owned manufacturing company in Richland County, Ohio ! We have multiple openings for individuals with basic welding knowledge, as well as an opportunity for a more advanced welder who can independently set up equipment and perform quality welds.

Pay: $17/hr starting + Attendance Bonus (Up to $19/hr)

Available Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift
• 2nd Shift
• Starting Pay: $14-$17/hr
• Attendance Bonus: Additional $2/hr, bringing earning potential up to $19/hr
• Optional overtime available

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform MIG welding on metal components in a production manufacturing environment
• Operate machinery and assist with production assembly
• Inspect welded parts for defects, quality, and consistency
• Complete rework welding and repairs as needed
• Document production information accurately in computer systems
• Follow established safety and quality procedures
• Work with production teams to meet daily goals

What We're Looking For

Entry Level Welders:

• Basic welding knowledge or hands on experience through school, training, or previous employment
• Understanding of basic welding techniques and safety practices
• Willingness to learn and develop welding skills
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to complete a welding assessment

Experienced / Advanced Welders:

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to independently set up and adjust welding equipment
• Strong understanding of weld quality, consistency, and penetration
• Ability to identify and correct welding defects
• Ability to successfully complete an advanced welding assessment

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully complete the required welding assessment
• Advanced welding candidates must be able to set up welding equipment independently and demonstrate proper weld penetration
• Candidates completing the advanced weld test must have their own welding helmet and gloves
