Location: Temple, GA
Starting Pay: $20 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
Employment Type: Full-time
Our Douglasville office is seeking an experienced Maintenance Welder for a well-established manufacturing facility in Temple, GA. This position supports the maintenance department by completing welding, fabrication, equipment repair, and other maintenance-related assignments.
Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility components.
Diagnose damaged metal parts and determine the appropriate repair method.
Cut, fit, weld, and modify metal components as needed.
Assist the maintenance team with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Safely operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, hand tools, and power tools.
Follow all facility safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance environment.
Experience with metal fabrication and equipment repair.
Ability to produce strong, consistent welds.
Ability to safely use welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment.
Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
Availability to work occasional Saturdays as required.
Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Steel-toed boots or shoes are required.
