Penmac Staffing is seeking experienced MIG Welders for a full-time opportunity in the Shell Knob, Missouri area. Our client is a national leader in commercial boat lift and marine systems manufacturing, construction, and repair. - Previous MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and work instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings
MIG Welder ResponsibilitiesAs a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing quality welds and assisting with the fabrication of commercial boat lift and marine system components. Daily duties may include:
- Welding assemblies according to shop drawings and specifications
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment
- Inspecting completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Using hand tools and other fabrication equipment as needed
- Operating a forklift to move materials and finished products
- Following all workplace safety guidelines and procedures
- Assisting with general production and manufacturing tasks
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Pay starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
