MIG Welder / Production Associate
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking MIG Welder to join a fast-paced production team. This position involves MIG welding 2-inch metal parts and assisting with other production duties throughout the workday. Candidates must be flexible and willing to perform non-welding tasks as needed.
Schedule:
MondayThursday, 6:00 AM4:30 PM
Overtime on Fridays as needed
Job Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on 2-inch metal parts
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or production specifications as needed
Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
Follow all production specifications and safety procedures
Assist with assembly, material handling, and other production tasks when not welding
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members
Meet daily quality and production expectations
Requirements:
Previous MIG welding experience required
Blueprint-reading experience preferred; candidates may be required to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to produce consistent, quality welds
Willingness to perform welding and non-welding production duties
Strong teamwork skills and a good work ethic
Dependable transportation and excellent attendance
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment
Steel-toed footwear required
Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen
