Description
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturer in Cary, who is looking for a MIG/TIG Welder to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 1st shift hours Monday-Friday.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. - Grind, polish, and finish welded parts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
- Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Previous MIG/TIG welding experience, preferably in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Ability to use measuring tools and perform accurate layout work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Welding certification is a plus but not required.
