MIG Structural Welder

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Location: Tulsa, OK

MIG Structural Welder – Must-Have Requirements

  • Experience with MIG welding on structural steel preferred
  • Welding school graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

MIG Structural Welder – Position Summary

We are seeking a MIG Structural Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for welding structural steel components using MIG welding while following blueprint specifications and quality standards. Whether you're an experienced welder or a recent welding school graduate looking to start your career, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.

MIG Structural Welder – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Welding & Fabrication

  • Perform MIG welding on structural steel components and assemblies
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
  • Prepare materials and verify proper fit-up prior to welding
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Perform weld touch-ups and repairs as needed

Production

  • Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time
  • Maintain accurate workmanship and follow established welding procedures
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards

Safety & Quality

  • Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Properly use welding equipment and personal protective equipment
  • Maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication process
  • Participate in training and continuous skill development opportunities

MIG Structural Welder – Additional Qualifications

  • Previous structural steel fabrication experience is a plus
  • Experience with grinders, measuring tools, and fabrication equipment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable work ethic with a desire for long-term career growth
