Eastern Greene Middle School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to serve as Boys and Girls Track Coaches. The successful candidates will provide leadership, instruction, and mentorship while developing student-athletes both on and off the track.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, promote sportsmanship, and foster an environment where student-athletes develop confidence, teamwork, and a passion for competition.
Qualifications
- Coaching experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor middle school student-athletes
- Commitment to building positive relationships with students and families
- Knowledge of track and field fundamentals preferred

- Develop student-athletes skills and understanding of track and field
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth
- Create a positive and competitive athletic environment

Expectations
- Oversee all aspects of the track team assigned
- Plan and conduct organized, safe, and engaging practices
- Communicate expectations, schedules, and events with athletes and parents
- Model appropriate behavior and sportsmanship
- Build a program that the Eastern Greene community is proud to support
- Recruit and encourage student participation
- Work collaboratively with the Athletic Director and coaching staff
- Demonstrate reliability and preparedness in meeting practices, competitions, and assigned responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
