Position Summary

Full-Time PositionSt. Barnabas Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to teach Middle School Social Studies for grades 6 - 8. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about academic excellence, committed to fostering a positive classroom environment, and eager to support the mission and values of Catholic education. Someone who will be a team player in our large school community.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Social Studies courses for students in grades 6 – 8 Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Create a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and respect Foster a positive and engaging learning environment Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences into instruction Support the mission and values of Catholic education

Qualifications
