Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Middle School Science Teacher for a contract position in Cleveland, Ohio, for the remainder of the school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about science education and helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
Teach middle school science concepts through hands-on activities, experiments, and demonstrations.
Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
Implement effective classroom management strategies.
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student achievement.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress.
Qualifications
Middle school science teaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of science concepts and instructional practices.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction for students with diverse learning needs.
Appropriate teaching license or credentials, as required.
