POSITION: MIDDLE SCHOOL REGISTRAR

ADDITIONAL INFO: Forty hours per week.

SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $17.80 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: The principal function is to build and maintain the master schedule and the computerized student accounting system including student schedules,

grades and transcripts. The position requires strong computer skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, as well as the ability to think and reason

in a logical sequence and perform work accurately with numerous and frequent interruptions. The work is performed under the supervision of a school

Principal or Assistant Principal. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must have knowledge of:

  • Operation of standard and specialized office equipment including a personal computer and job related software;
  • English grammar and punctuation;
  • Current office practices and procedures;
  • Basic mathematical computations and statistical reporting.

Ability to:

  • Perform time management and scheduling functions, meet deadlines, and set task priorities;
  • Maintain office, school, and individual confidentiality.

ACCEPTABLE TRAINING: High school diploma or GED equivalency, preferably supplemented with at least two years of college; and two years of administrative and

computer experience, with some experience in scheduling. Demonstrated knowledge and use of various computer software programs or any

equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
