    Title: Middle Office Sr Developer
    Location: New York, NY
    Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 4 days onsite
    Duration: 12-Month Contract to Hire
    Experience Range: 10+ years

    Our client is seeking a Senior Developer with 10+ years of experience to lead the design, development, and support of innovative software solutions within a fast-paced capital markets environment on their Middle Office team.
    Responsibilities & Qualifications
    • Lead, architect, and develop innovative software solutions; manage design reviews, code quality, and testing standards
    • Provide Level 3 production support including diagnosis, investigation, and resolution of critical issues; coordinate across development, business, infrastructure, and vendor teams
    • Follow established deployment processes to implement, test, and configure code changes in production environments
    • Pro-actively collaborate within a global development team to deliver robust, scalable solutions
    • Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in legacy platform modernization
    • Design and optimize solutions using multi-threading, async programming, and SOLID architectural principles
    • Work with Front Office Trading Platforms, FIX protocol, and capital markets instruments including equities, swaps, and corporate actions
    Requirements
    • 10+ years of software development experience with demonstrated expertise in C# and .NET
    • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server; strong understanding of database design and optimization
    • Expert-level knowledge of multi-threading, async programming, and SOLID principles
    • Proven experience with FO Trading Platforms, FIX protocol, and capital markets domain (equities, swaps, corporate actions)
    • Experience working with legacy platform programming and modernization initiatives in financial services
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across global teams
    • C++ experience is a plus
