    Middle Market C&I Banker –Atlanta, GA

    FinTrust Connect has partnered with a well-capitalized regional banking institution to identify top talent for a Middle Market C&I Banker opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is ideal for an established Atlanta C&I producer who has deep commercial relationships, a strong track record of originating new business, and experience advising privately held companies in the emerging middle market.

    Requirements:
    • Proven commercial banking experience with a strong emphasis on C&I lending and relationship development
    • Established relationships and demonstrated business development success within the Atlanta market
    • Experience serving privately held and middle market companies, ideally within the $25M–$125M revenue segment
    • Strong knowledge of commercial credit, financial analysis, loan structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management
    • Demonstrated ability to generate new lending, deposit, treasury management, and broader commercial banking opportunities
    • Ability to operate as a true C&I banker rather than a generalist commercial or CRE-focused lender
    • Strong understanding of operating-company credit structures, working capital needs, equipment financing, acquisition financing, and other traditional C&I solutions
    • Ability to identify business-owner needs and appropriately refer personal wealth and private banking opportunities to specialized partners
    • Strong relationship management, communication, negotiation, and business development skills
    • Existing Atlanta-area market connectivity and centers-of-influence relationships strongly preferred
    Description:
    • Manage and expand relationships with emerging middle market companies, generally representing organizations with approximately $25M–$125M in annual revenue.
    • Develop new C&I relationships through an established professional network, targeted prospecting, centers of influence, and referral channels.
    • Originate commercial credit opportunities focused on operating companies while maintaining a disciplined C&I lending strategy.
    • Analyze client financial performance, borrowing needs, cash flow, capital structure, and overall creditworthiness.
    • Coordinate with credit and underwriting partners to structure appropriate commercial lending solutions and move opportunities efficiently through the approval process.
    • Maintain a high-quality portfolio through proactive relationship management, credit monitoring, and ongoing assessment of client performance.
    • Identify deposit, treasury management, and other commercial banking opportunities that deepen the overall client relationship.
    • Refer business owners and executives with personal financial needs to Private Banking partners while maintaining primary responsibility for the commercial relationship.
    • Collaborate with Treasury Management, Private Banking, Credit, Risk, and other internal partners to deliver coordinated solutions to clients.
    • Maintain a business development pipeline of established companies and prospects throughout the Atlanta market.
    • Represent the organization in the local business community through professional associations, centers of influence, and relationship-building activities.
    • Report to the Emerging Middle Market Team Leader and work closely with commercial banking leadership and credit partners.
