    Hire Resolve is assisting mining organizations in hiring experienced metals mining professionals across the United States. This is a multi-role opportunity spanning mine operations, technical services, geology, mineral processing, maintenance and reliability, projects, and HSE leadership within hard-rock environments. These roles suit mid- to senior-level professionals and offer progression toward Superintendent, Manager, and Site Leadership positions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead or support safe, efficient production in surface and/or underground hard-rock operations
    • Strengthen compliance with MSHA standards and site safety systems (risk assessments, controls, audits, incident prevention)
    • Drive operational performance through planning, shift/crew execution, and KPI management (cost, tonnes, recovery, availability)
    • Support mine planning and scheduling (short interval control, short/long-range plans) and production optimization
    • Provide technical input across drill-and-blast, ground control, ventilation, and geotechnical risk controls (as applicable)
    • Optimize plant/process performance (throughput, recovery, product quality) and troubleshoot process bottlenecks
    • Lead maintenance/reliability improvements for mobile and fixed plant (shutdown planning, asset strategy, availability)
    • Manage contractors and vendors to scope, schedule, budget, and safety expectations
    • Support projects, expansion work, commissioning, and operational readiness
    • Coach and develop teams while improving standard work and continuous improvement routines


    Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering/Geology, Metallurgy/Mineral Processing, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience for certain leadership roles)
    • Typically 5–12+ years of progressive experience in metals mining or comparable heavy industrial operations
    • Strong working knowledge of MSHA compliance and practical safety leadership
    • Experience in one or more: operations leadership, mine planning/scheduling, drilling & blasting, processing optimization, reliability/maintenance, technical services, projects, or HSE systems
    • Familiarity with common systems/tools: CMMS (SAP/Maximo), fleet/dispatch, condition monitoring, planning tools, MS Office/Power BI
    • Ability to work on-site; flexibility for rotation/shift schedules depending on site
