Job Summary

If you're interested in a Mid Level Security Officer job, then this is the best role for you! This role provides security services at an industrial site through gatehouse coverage, foot patrols, mobile patrols, and emergency response.

Job Description

• Patrol buildings, grounds, facilities, and assigned work areas.
• Provide gatehouse and access-control security.
• Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and provide CPR assistance when required.
• Complete security reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow established security procedures and site-specific requirements.
• Work under general supervision while exercising sound judgment.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Skills Required

4–6 years of security or related experience.

• Knowledge of standard security practices, procedures, and protocols.
• Strong observation and situational awareness.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• CPR/emergency response skills preferred.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Hawaii Guard Card REQUIRED — candidates without an active card should not be submitted.
• CPR certification/training preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Officers will not carry any type of weapons.
• Must be comfortable with guardhouse, foot patrol, mobile patrol, and emergency response assignments.
• Three possible shifts, based on business needs:
  • 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
  • 1:30 PM–8:00 AM
• No guaranteed shift start time; scheduling is based on business needs.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $31.21 to $39.21 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
