MTC focuses on providing DoD customers with efficient, cost-effective, and innovative solutions in data management, software engineering, system engineering, test and evaluation support, information technology, and information system security.We are seeking a Mid-Level Radar Engineer/Analyst to join a well-established team in an AVMC lab that supports the development, test, and fielding of missile defense radar systems.Position Responsibilities:Analysis tool design and development, and complex analysis on radar system and/or algorithm performance.Provide expertise on various aspects of critical radar functions including acquisition, scheduling, tracking, discrimination, advanced functions, and system-level interactions.Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop creative solutions to complex technical problems.Support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling & simulation (M&S), post-flight reconstruction, and integration and risk reduction efforts. Interact with external customers and stakeholders within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), program offices, and radar development prime contractors.Minimum Job Requirements:US Citizenship.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience with sensor and/or system-level data analysis.Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering using MATLAB, Python, and/or similar tools.Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex radar behaviors effectively to a broad range of audiences.Experience developing and/or improving complex analysis tools using MATLAB.Experience in radar analysis, radar systems engineering, and/or radar test and evaluation.Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Active secret clearance.Preferred Skills:Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.Experience with AN/TPY-2 TM.Experience with radar signal detection/injection HWIL systems.Experience in C, C++, and Ada programming, Linux/Unix operating systems, Microsoft Office.Schedule: M-F; 8-5Work Location: Customer- siteTravel: Yes, 0-10%Benefits: Stable work environment, competitive salary & benefits package, 401k Matching Program, Flexible Work Schedules, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Leave & moreEOE disability/vetsThis position is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive criminal background check and government security investigation.
