Mid-Level Program Analyst

Jefferson is seeking Program Analyst to support the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Mission Support Services.

This role will be remote; however, travel may be required during the period of performance. This position requires that applicants reside in the United States and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Applicants must maintain U.S. residency for the duration of their employment.

The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Support project initiatives involving acquisition and/or financial assistance activities, including implementation planning, process development, and project execution.
• Support long-term planning, administration, and execution of complex acquisition and/or financial assistance projects and related program initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans and provide recommendations addressing operational efficiency, compliance, and implementation issues.
• Analyze changes to governing policies and regulations, assess potential impacts to programs and operations, and recommend adjustments to project plans or implementation approaches.
• Support development of policies, guidance, communication materials, workshops, and other products used to implement project and operational improvements.
• Provide full lifecycle support for modernization and efficiency improvement initiatives, including requirements development, assessments, recommendations, testing, and implementation support.
• Support development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and other data visualizations and conduct testing aligned with NIST and DOI standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Six years of relevant experience supporting program analysis, business analysis, project management, acquisition, financial assistance, or related activities.
• Experience analyzing operational or program information and developing practical recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance, or performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and identify risks, alternatives, and opportunities for improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Government leadership, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work with data visualization, reporting, or business analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Federal agency acquisition or financial assistance programs.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards, data visualizations, or performance reporting products.
