Description

Role Overview: Support critical Department of Defense and Intelligence Community operations through the exploitation, analysis, and production of Motion GEOINT and related geospatial intelligence products in McLean, Virginia. This mid-level role requires performing with minimal supervision, producing high-quality intelligence products, and providing technical guidance to junior analysts in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
  • Video Exploitation: Provide real-time, 24/7/365 FMV (Full-Motion Video) exploitation in a shift-work environment with minimal oversight.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze targets using diverse platforms and Motion GEOINT sources, including multi-spectral, hyperspectral, infrared (IR), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and LiDAR imagery.
  • Reporting & Graphics: Produce storyboards, vehicle follows, 360-degree graphics, and standard/non-standard NGA imagery products (summary reports, tailored mission-specific products, database remarks, and daily briefings).
  • Live Documentation: View, exploit, record, and accurately touch-type live exploitation comments (minimum 32 WPM with 90% accuracy).
  • Collaboration, Mentorship & Archiving: Partner with NGA, NSG, ASG, and service analysts; archive and disseminate products per NGA standards; mentor and develop junior analysts while supporting team performance.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Citizenship & Clearance: An active TS/SCI security clearance (with willingness to undergo additional SAP screening and background investigations).
  • Experience & Education:
    • Minimum of 5 years of full-time, post-schoolhouse intelligence analysis experience, including 3 years of GEOINT analysis experience; OR
    • Minimum of 3 years of full-time, post-schoolhouse GEOINT analysis experience combined with an Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Formal Training: Completion of formal military intelligence schoolhouse training.
Core Competencies:
  • Full-motion video exploitation & MITIL training certification
  • Touch-typing exploitation comments (32+ WPM / 90% accuracy)
  • Storyboard, vehicle follow, and 360-degree graphic production
  • LiDAR, SAR, and multi-spectral imagery analysis
  • NGA imagery product standards & SAP environment operations
Training & Onboarding Milestones: Candidates must successfully pass the following initial training phases to remain on the contract:
  • Motion Imagery Tradecraft Intermediate Level (MITIL): 5-day course (Pass/Fail)
  • Fundamentals and Program Orientation: 10-day course (Minimum passing score: 80%)
  • On-the-Job Training (OJT): Up to 90 days (or 45 mission days, task-specific, consisting of three subphases, pass/fail)
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Target Backgrounds: Candidates transitioning from defense contractors such as CACI, GDIT, Leidos, SAIC, Peraton, ManTech, Amentum, Booz Allen Hamilton, V2X, SOSi, or Cherokee Federal.
  • Preferences: Previous Motion GEOINT experience supporting DoD or IC operations, strong familiarity with NGA workflows, and demonstrated capability in high-tempo operational environments.
