    Description

    On-site 

    Technical:
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or similar field.
    • Four to Eight (4-8) years’ financial analysis experience.
    • Direct experience in government contracting
    •  Previous employment with a government contractor (not government-side)
    • Financial analysis experience, including but not limited to revenue tracking, cost analysis, estimating, forecasting, or “should-cost” modeling
    • Cost proposal experience
    • Must be proficient in CostPoint.
    • Must have advanced knowledge of Excel.
    • Must be able to speak, write, understand and communicate in English.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
    •  100% in-office requirement

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    •  Experience supporting contracts with the Navy (ship modernization, repair, engineering technical services)
    • Familiarity with Naval customers, such as NAVSEA, NAVAIR, Regional Maintenance Centers, Naval Surface Warfare Centers, and Naval Undersea Warfare Centers
    Responsibilities
    • Provides expert end-to-end knowledge to users in automated financial systems and use of financial system applications conducting staff training on the use of financial system
    • Documents processes, procedures, and system configurations 
    • Ensures accuracy, compliance, and functionality of financial systems
    • Supports the organization's strategic financial objectives
    • Successfully complete assigned training and examinations, as well as participate in ongoing performance and development reviews, and goal setting
    • Be available to participate in internal or external meetings, special functions, and professional development opportunities
    • Cross-train and share knowledge with other team members

    The Financial analyst will be working with the PM's 40-70 people
    The candidate will be great if he is coming from any Defense Contractor for the NAVY
    Needs to have a good personality
    Bachelor or experience
    Looking for Financial analyst II or III
    Needs to be able to obtain DOD Secret Clearance
    CostPoint is not needed. Ok SAP
    On site is not negotiable
