Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Research Engineer to support agricultural research and testing activities. This role focuses on laboratory operations, conducting experiments, operating and maintaining research equipment, and collecting high-quality data. Job Description

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while following all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, organize, and process research samples and testing materials.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and testing using engineering and laboratory equipment.
  • Collect, record, and organize research data using laboratory instruments and computer systems.
  • Analyze experimental results and prepare reports, charts, and presentations.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, supplies, and equipment readiness.
  • Provide technical support to scientists and engineers.
  • Assist in evaluating new equipment, processes, and technologies.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience operating, testing, or maintaining laboratory, industrial, or engineering equipment.
  • Basic engineering and programming skills.
  • Experience with at least one programming language (Python, C#, or C++).
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation, automation systems, or test equipment (preferred).
  • Experience supporting agricultural research or scientific experiments (preferred).
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary research or engineering environment (preferred).

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks
  • Start Time: 08:00 AM
  • Must be able to work full-time on-site.
  • Ability to maintain laboratory safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to support research activities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $27.29 to $35.29 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
