Our client is a boutique law firm that represents boards of education in all aspects of education/school law, including but not limited to collective bargaining, administrative proceedings (SERB, EEOC/OCRC, BWC, and OHSAA), state and federal courts, special education, and tax valuation.
This well-established firm with a great culture is seeking to hire a mid-level associate attorney with 2-5 years of labor law or public-sector representation experience and the ability/interest to present on legal topics at firm and industry seminars.
Strong writing, motion practice, interpersonal, and entrepreneurial skills are required. Litigation experience before administrative agencies and state and federal courts is preferred. Experience or an interest in special education or bargaining negotiations is a plus, but not required.
