Our client, a Civil Litigation Public Entity Defense Firm is seeking an associate attorney to join a growing practice. Our client is looking for one attorney with sufficient experience to independently manage aggressively litigated, high-exposure matters, or an attorney with three years of experience who is eager to learn, develop, and assume increasing responsibility. Experience with Employment Litigation is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, advanced legal research and writing skills, and a positive, productive approach to their work.

Responsibilities
• Manage assigned cases
• Draft motions, oppositions, replies, and other pleadings
• Analyze legal issues, exposures, and potential defenses
• Prepare and respond to written discovery
• Evaluate damages claims
• Collaborate with attorneys at all levels
• Provide guidance to junior attorneys
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in good standing
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to ethical legal practice

Pay: $130,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year + bonuses.
