What Youll Do
- Provide specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients in the MICU
- Monitor and manage ventilated patients, including vent adjustments and assessments
- Administer complex medication regimens and IV therapies
- Perform advanced procedures such as arterial pressure monitoring, central line placement, and chest tube management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care planning and delivery
- Document patient care accurately using computerized charting systems (EPIC required)
- Respond to emergent patient needs with confidence and professionalism
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license or multi-state compact license
- Minimum of 2 years MICU experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale preferred
- Demonstrated skills in vents, IV starts, complex medication administration, and EPIC charting
Preferred:
- Experience with pulmonary and gastrointestinal procedures
- Knowledge of complex critical care equipment and protocols
