Job Title: Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience in Unified Communications UC Microsoft Teams Voice and Enterprise Telephony solutions

The candidate will be responsible for designing implementing administering and supporting Microsoft Teams Phone Direct Routing Operator Connect Calling Plans SBCs and voice infrastructure in enterprise environments

The role requires expertise in voice migrations troubleshooting security and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Teams Voice Administration

Manage and support Microsoft Teams Phone System

Configure and maintain Calling Plans Direct Routing and Operator Connect

Administer Auto Attendants and Call Queues

Manage voice policies dial plans emergency calling and voice routing policies

Monitor Teams Voice service health and performance

Enterprise Telephony Voice Infrastructure

Design and support enterprise voice solutions

Configure and manage Session Border Controllers SBCs

Troubleshoot PSTN connectivity and call routing issues

Integrate Teams Voice with telecom carriers and SIP providers

Support voice gateways and hybrid telephony environments

Migration Transformation

Lead migrations from

Cisco CUCM

Avaya

Skype for Business

Legacy PBX Systems

Plan execute and support Teams Phone deployments and migrations

Conduct voice assessments and migration readiness activities

Troubleshooting Support

Provide L2L3 support for Teams Voicerelated incidents

Analyze call quality using CQD Call Quality Dashboard

Perform Root Cause Analysis RCA for recurring issues

Resolve call drops latency jitter packet loss and media quality issues

Manage escalations and vendor coordination

Security Governance

Implement Teams governance and compliance standards

Ensure secure voice communication architecture

Configure emergency calling and compliance policies

Support audit and regulatory requirements

Monitoring Reporting

Monitor Teams Voice environment health

Generate operational and service reports

Track usage adoption and call quality metrics

Maintain documentation SOPs and knowledge base articles

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Benefits

Compensation range: $ 93,815.00 to 127,202.00 per year
