ConRes is seeking an experienced Microsoft Modern Work Engineer to deliver Microsoft 365, endpoint, security, collaboration, and infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Microsoft Modern Work technologies and strong expertise in SCCM/MECM, Hyper-V, and SCVMM.

This MSP-based role supports multiple customer environments through assessments, design, implementations, migrations, troubleshooting, and support.

Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 / Modern Work

• Design, configure, and support Microsoft 365 environments. \t
• Administer key Microsoft 365 services, including: \t

• Microsoft Entra ID \t\t
• Exchange Online \t\t
• SharePoint Online \t\t
• OneDrive for Business \t\t
• Microsoft Teams \t\t
• Microsoft Intune \t\t
• Microsoft Defender \t\t

• Manage Conditional Access, MFA, identity, compliance, and security policies. \t
• Implement Windows 11 endpoint management. \t
• Configure Windows Autopilot and Hybrid Entra ID Join. \t
• Manage Intune enrollment, compliance, configuration, apps, and endpoint security. \t
• Deploy Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and integrate it with Microsoft 365. \t
• Support Purview security, compliance, information protection, retention, and DLP. \t
• Optimize, harden, and remediate Microsoft 365 tenants. \t
• Support Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant and cloud migrations. \t
• Troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 and endpoint issues. \t
• Provide escalation support for customer environments.

Microsoft Configuration Manager / SCCM

• Design, deploy, administer, and support SCCM/MECM environments. \t
• Manage application deployment, software distribution, patching, inventory, and compliance. \t
• Maintain SCCM collections, task sequences, baselines, and deployment workflows. \t
• Perform Windows OS deployments and upgrades. \t
• Troubleshoot SCCM clients, site roles, deployments, and software updates. \t
• Support SCCM and Intune co-management. \t
• Create PowerShell automation and administrative tools.

Hyper-V

• Design, deploy, configure, and support Hyper-V environments. \t
• Manage VMs, virtual networking, storage, and high availability. \t
• Support Hyper-V clusters and Windows Server virtualization. \t
• Provision, migrate, maintain, and troubleshoot virtual machines. \t
• Resolve virtualization performance, connectivity, storage, and availability issues. \t
• Assist with physical-to-virtual and virtual-to-virtual migrations.

System Center Virtual Machine Manager / SCVMM

• Design, upgrade/deploy, configure, and administer SCVMM. \t
• Manage Hyper-V hosts and VMs through SCVMM. \t
• Configure SCVMM fabric, host groups, networks, storage, templates, and libraries. \t
• Provision and migrate VMs using SCVMM. \t
• Troubleshoot SCVMM and Hyper-V infrastructure. \t
• Integrate SCVMM-managed infrastructure with broader Microsoft environments.

Power BI

Power BI experience is preferred and may support reporting, analytics, and operational insights.

Candidates with Power BI experience may help with:

The pay range for this position is $155,000 â€" $175,000 per year.
