Title: Microsoft Fabric Administrator and BI Support Analyst

Innova Software Services Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Administrator and BI Support Analyst to support enterprise business intelligence platforms, analytics environments, and reporting operations.
The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on Microsoft Fabric expertise, Power BI administration, Tableau support, SQL, and data analytics.
This is primarily a platform administration and support role, focused on maintaining reliable analytics services, managing access and governance, troubleshooting platform issues, and supporting business reporting requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft Fabric Administration and Support
Support daily administration and operations of Microsoft Fabric environments.
Work with Fabric components, including Dataflows Gen2, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and semantic models.
Assist with workspace administration, user permissions, access management, and platform governance.
Monitor platform activities and troubleshoot data refresh, connectivity, and reporting issues.
Support analytics platform configuration, maintenance, and operational improvements.
Power BI and Tableau Support
Support Power BI dashboards, datasets, semantic models, and reporting services.
Work with Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
Assist with dashboard troubleshooting, scheduled refreshes, and access-related issues.
Support Tableau dashboards and Tableau Server environments.
Help maintain reporting consistency, reliability, and data quality.
Data Analytics and Technical Support
Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
Investigate reporting discrepancies, data connectivity issues, and refresh failures.
Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to resolve platform issues.
Maintain documentation for configurations, reporting processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Manage support requests and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Governance and Platform Improvements
Support BI governance, role-based access, and platform security practices.
Assist with analytics migration initiatives involving Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Support operational improvements and standardization across enterprise reporting environments.
Participate in testing and validation of platform enhancements.
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
2 5 years of experience in data analytics, BI administration, analytics support, or a related technical role.
Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience is mandatory.
Working knowledge of Dataflows Gen2, OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse concepts, and semantic models.
Proficiency with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, dashboard development, and Power BI Service.
Experience with Tableau dashboards and Tableau Server.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Ability to work onsite in Orange County, California.
Experience supporting enterprise BI administration, governance, access controls, and security.
Familiarity with Alteryx and analytics migration to Microsoft Fabric.
Experience with ServiceNow or Jira ticketing systems.
Exposure to Snowflake, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with Apache Airflow, Spark, or Hadoop.
Experience with JupyterHub or Hue.
Knowledge of GitLab or other version control systems.
Python or scripting experience.
