Title: Microsoft Entra ID Security Engineer
Locations: Chicago, IL (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $55 - $60/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with expertise in security products, authentication, and authorization. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the secure and compliant implementation of Azure AD solutions, with a focus on Identity, authentication and authorization, MFA, and SSO.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Azure Active Directory solutions.
- Experience in onboarding applications, app registration, enterprise application setup, and role-based access management (RBAC).
- Proficiency in implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Strong knowledge of authentication protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)
- Experience with Azure Sentinel for monitoring, creating alerts, and developing automation scripts for incident response.
- Understanding of security best practices for Azure products, services, and solutions.
- Experience collaborating with DevOps and development teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)
- Configure and manage conditional access policies to control access based on specific conditions, locations, and device compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and troubleshoot IAM-related issues.
- Provide production support, responding to and resolving security incidents in a timely manner.
