Summary
Seeking a functional Dynamics 365 Business Central leader to own the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the ERP environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and development partners, driving process improvements across finance, accounting, purchasing, inventory, and service operations. The ideal candidate brings deep Business Central functional expertise, experience streamlining AP and operational workflows, and a strong understanding of Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform to improve reporting, automation, and user adoption.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the Business Central application owner and subject matter expert for day-to-day administration and system optimization.
* Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Service teams to identify process improvements and system enhancements.
* Lead requirements gathering, solution design, user acceptance testing, release planning, training, and change management initiatives.
* Drive improvements within AP, AR, General Ledger, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, service management, and project accounting processes.
* Work closely with internal developers and third-party consultants on customizations, integrations, and enhancement projects.
* Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using Power Automate and other Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
* Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards through Power BI to improve business visibility and decision making.
* Support integrations between Business Central and external business applications, financial systems, and automation platforms.
* Manage user security, permissions, documentation, audit support, and overall ERP governance.
* Champion user adoption, system best practices, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
