The ideal candidate will possess strong Clinical Laboratory Science experience, microbiology expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to quality patient care and laboratory excellence.

Section Supervisor is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, responsible for supervising one section of the lab, correctly performing technical procedures and Quality Control, operating and maintaining instrumentation and taking steps necessary to assure quality results and performing other duties as needed.

Every employee of the laboratory of Doctors Medical Center is expected to promote the mission and the philosophy of the hospital by acting in a caring, courteous and confidential manner towards patient's, visitors, colleagues and staff by performing their duties and responsibilities according to the expected standards.

Every member of the Laboratory Staff is expected to perform their duties and to accept the responsibility of the accuracy of their work as dictated in their Professional Standards as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Health Care Workers.

Staff members will maitain confidentiality of all reports, maintain the integrity of identification of the patient samples and will perform designated tasks which will enable the laboratory to comply with all regulatory standards or Clinical and Anatomic Laboratories.

Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License – California
Strong experience in Clinical Microbiology Laboratory operations

Experience performing and overseeing:

Laboratory quality systems
Specimen handling requirements
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
